Our gutters on our condo are always overflowing. The gutters were installed level. What can be done to fix this condition?

Gutters Installed Level
by: Jim

Most likely, your downspouts are clogged with debris. Installing your gutters level will not allow them to rinse themselves out in a heavy rain and therefore tend to collect and hold debris. I intentionally install the gutters with a slight downgrade to not only aid in self cleaning but this also prevents standing water in them. You have two options at this point. The best option would be to have your gutters re installed with a slight downward pitch towards the downspouts. The second option would be to have your gutters cleaned regularly, add additional downspouts and leaf protection.
